Regulatory Affairs Manager, Northeast

Job Description

1.Collaborate with NEA AGM and logistics to ensure appropriate representation before local MOA and CIQ offices and that team understands associated requirements as well as support customer service as needed.

2.Shanghai RA Manager must work cross-functionally with multiple areas/individuals, with a particular focus on NEA RA Manager in Beijing, NEA AGM, and Shanghai Plant Manager.

3.Develop and strengthen relationships with local regulatory officials, especially MOA and CIQ, to ensure full knowledge of requirements and support product registrations and regulatory compliance for Shanghai plant as well as attempt to influence new regulations or adjustment to them.

Requirements

1.Ability to work independently and proactively, identify issues, and generate solutions to meet business objectives while complying with regulatory requirements.

2.Proven ability to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and to keep up to date with changing regulatory environment.

3.Ability to work with product development and Ops/Management to identify RA constraints to new or existing production and proactively and creatively address these issues in a collaborative/team effort.

4. Advanced degree in animal science, veterinary sciences, chemistry or another scientific discipline is recommended. (MS is acceptable, but DVM or PhD is preferred.) However, work experience in the field paired with non-scientific education (such as policy) can be substituted for a scientific degree.
